Welcome to Sugar Faces!

Hi! ¡Hola! I’m Lulu, the face (and brush holder) behind Sugar Faces — a colourful little dream that started with me painting myself as a sugar skull for cultural festivals, then turned into painting my kids… and now I get to bring the fun to your special events!
With over 12 years of experience working with children (and as a mum myself!), I know how to create a safe, joyful, and engaging atmosphere where every child feels special. I’m based in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs, and offer vibrant face painting for a range of events, from a small birthday party to a neon night, a business activation, festival and everything in between.
Bright colours inspire me, and I specialise in bold, colourful designs that I adapt to suit each child's face, outfit, event theme, and personality — making every experience unique and memorable. 🌈
I’m also committed to doing my part for the environment:
🌿 I use professional, cosmetic-grade, hypoallergenic face paints that are not tested on animals🌿 biodegradable glitter that degrades within months, reducing micro plastics🌿 I choose reusable materials whenever it’s hygienic and safe to do so.
For your peace of mind, I hold Public Liability Insurance and a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), and I stick to a very thorough cleaning routine on site and disinfection of all equipment and material before each event.
